ALL The NEW SHOWS For The 2018 - 2019 TV SEASON!!!























If you are as devoted as Yours Truly CCG to your television viewing, then you are as excited as Ya Boy about this time of year... YOU are preparing yourself and anybody in your household for the forthcoming 2\018 - 2019 TV SEASON!!!

The scheduled lineup seems promising. There appears to be a fruitrull supply of original programming combined with a number or reboots of popular past favorites.

In no particular order of viewing favor or importance, here are the CCG TOP 12:

The Rookie
Network: ABC
Premiere date: Fall 2018 on Tuesdays at 10/9c

Cast: Nathan Fillion, Melissa O'Neil, Eric Winter, Richard T. Jones, Mercedes Mason, Afton Williamson, Titus Makin, and Alyssa Diaz

Premiere: The cop-themed dramedy centers around John Nolan, who is the oldest rookie in the LAPD. Nolan leaves behind his cushy, small-town life and moves to L.A., but things aren’t exactly as he imagined. Determined to make his second chance truly count, Nolan puts himself in dangerous and hilarious situations as he attempts to navigate the unpredictable world of the LAPD.

Murphy Brown
Network: CBS
Premiere date: Fall 2018 on Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c

Cast: Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto, Grant Shaud, Tyne Daly, Jake McDorman, and Nik Dodani

Premise: Candice Bergen is reprising her titular role as the beloved news anchor of cable news. This time around, the series will explore how social media and "fake news" can affect journalists in monumental ways. Expect to see the same biting commentary from the eponymous broadcast news legend because she's not one to hold back. Amidst a politically divided nation and incessant attacks on the press, Murphy and her original FYI team return to provide a clear line between good television and honest reporting.


Magnum P.I.
Network: CBS
Premiere date: Fall 2018 on Mondays at 9/8c

Cast: Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, and Stephen Hill

Premise: The updated version of the classic television series is set in Hawaii and follows Thomas Magnum — a decorated ex-Navy SEAL who returns home from Afghanistan and repurposes his skillset as a private investigator. Magnum is a charming American hero and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan. You can definitely expect to see a hefty dose of his vintage Ferrari, aviator sunglasses, and Old Düsseldorf longnecks chilling in the fridge. The original series starred Tom Selleck and his legendary mustache and ran from 1980-88.

A Million Little Things
Network: ABC
Premiere date: Fall 2018 on Wednesdays at 10/9c

Cast: James Roday, David Giuntoli, Romany Malco, Ron Livingston, Christina Moses, Christina Ochoa, Allison Miller, Lizzy Greene, and Grace Park

Premise: This is a dramedy about a group of close-knit friends who are either stuck in a rut or incapable of making significant changes in their lives. When one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s a major wake up call for this group to get it together and start living up to their potential. Along the way, these lifelong friends discover that good friendships can turn anyone's life around for the better.


Charmed
Network: The CW
Premiere date: Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9/8c

Cast: Sarah Jeffery, Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock, Rupert Evans, Ser’Darius Blain, Charlie Gillespie, and Ellen Tamaki

Premise: The feminist reboot will focus on three sisters (Macy, Mel, and Madison) in a college town who discover that they are the Charmed Ones. While defeating supernatural entities, tearing down the patriarchy, and salvaging their family bonds, they realize that a witch’s work is never done! Macy is the oldest sister and in her late 20s. She has a Ph.D. in quantum physics and her power is telekinesis. Mel Pruitt, who is the middle sister, is a strong-willed feminist and a lesbian. Mel's special power is time-freezing. Madison Pruitt is the youngest sister, and she's around 18 years old. She has a strong desire to fit in and is a well-rounded girl with interests in sports, cheerleading, and joining a college sorority. Madison is horrified to 


Manifest
Network: NBC
Premiere date: Monday, Sept. 24 at 10/9c

Cast: Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, J.R. Ramirez, Athena Karkanis, Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, and Jack Messina

Premise: After a lot of turbulence, Montego Air Flight 828 lands safely on the ground. Somehow, in the span of the few hours the plane was in air, the world has aged five years. The passengers discover that their friends, families, and colleagues have already mourned their loss and most of them have given up hope of ever seeing them again. As this new reality becomes clear, a deeper mystery unfolds. Some of the returned passengers discover that they are meant for something greater than they could have ever imagined.


Whiskey Cavalier
Network: ABC
Premiere date: Midseason

Cast: Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, and Vir Das

Premise: Will Chase is an FBI agent whose codename is Whiskey Cavalier! After following an emotional breakup, Will is assigned to work with a kickass CIA operative named Frankie Trowbridge (codename: Fiery Tribune). Together, they must lead an inter-agency team of heroic, funny, and flawed spies who attempt to save the world


Fam
Network: CBS
Premiere date: Midseason

Cast: Nina Dobrev, Odessa Adlon, Tone Bell, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Sheryl Lee Ralph

Premise: Clem's vision of the perfect life with her loving fiancée and his wonderful parents is turned upside down when her out-of-control, teen sister comes back into her life. As time goes on, Clem realizes that the family she has chosen to be a part of and her immediate family, together, make the perfect combination she's always been in search of.


Roswell
Network: The CW
Premiere date: Midseason

Cast: Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parson, Tyler Blackburn, Michael Trevino, Heather Hemmens, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis, Trevor Ar. John, Karan Oberoi

Premise: Roswell native Liz Ortecho returns home 10 years after the death of her beloved, older sister, Rosa. Due to her father's declining health, Liz decides to move back to her tourist-trap hometown. She reconnects with her teenage crush, Max, who is now a police officer. They discover that their chemistry is still electric, but Liz is thrown for a loop when she realizes that Max is an alien. As the two grow closer, Liz finds it increasingly difficult to keep Max's identity hidden from her loved ones. Meanwhile, a government conspiracy spearheaded by Master Sgt. Jesse Manes threatens to expose Max and his family. Politics of fear and hatred run rampant in Roswell now and endanger the town's 

Legacies
Network: The CW
Premiere date: Thursday, Oct. 25 at 9/8c

Cast: Matt Davis, Danielle Rose Russell, Quincy Fouse, Kaylee Bryant, and Jenny Boyd

Premise: This spin-off of The Vampire Diariesand The Originals focuses on the next generation of supernatural beings who attend The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. Klaus Mikaelson’s daughter, 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson, attends this school, along with other familiar faces like Alaric Saltzman’s twins, Lizzie and Josie Saltzman. Legacies tells an unconventional coming-of-age tale about teens who are encouraged to be their best selves, despite their harrowingly dark impulses. Whether these powerful vampires, witches, and werewolves will develop into heroes or villains is yet to be determined.

Single Parents
Network: ABC
Premiere date: Fall 2018 on Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c

Cast: Taran Killam, Leighton Meester, Brad Garrett, Kimrie Lewis, Jake Choi, Marlow Barkley, Tyler Wladis, Devin Trey Campbell, Grace Hazelett, and Sadie Hazelett

Premise: A group of single parents lean on each other while raising their kids and trying to maintain some semblance of a personal life. Somewhere along the way, these parents have lost sight of who they are, but now they're ready to practice self-care and lead a slightly less chaotic life

FBI
Network: CBS
Premiere date: Fall 2018 on Tuesdays at 9/8c

Cast: Missy Peregrym, Jeremy Sisto, Zeeko Zaki, and Ebonée Noel

Premise: This drama explores the inner workings of the FBI's New York office, and the first-class agents who bring all of their intellect, talent, and technical expertise to the cases they investigate. In an effort to keep NYC and the country safe, they dive into the world of organized crime, counterintelligence, and terrorism.
