In 2001, the U,S, MILITARY ushered in the drone age when it began using anonymous, unmanned digital remote-controlled technology to target Al-QEDA leadership in AFGHANISTAN, IRAN, and; IRAQ!!!
Drones have since become a critical component of the U.S. MILITARY arsenal, and the
ir usage in various conflict areas of the world have greatly expanded under both Presidents OBAMA and TRUMP.
Civilian users are nw getting in on the action. In 2017,some 3 million drones were sold around the world, and another 2 million are currently registered with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). These consumer drones are like remote-controlled airplanes in that they can fly vertically. However; they carry much more sophisticated on-board technology such as GPS, Wi-Fi, and; Obstacle-Avoidance Sensors.
