Football continues to be the most popular sports in the UNITED STATES, and, of ALL professional sports, the NFL consistently continues to deliver the highest numbers in TV ratings!!!
However; what continues to be the most prominent concern about the beloved sports is the issue of safety. A Safe Sport, football is NOT.
While the game may not ever truly be safe, the league seems to be taking steps in attempts to make it safer.
A point of concern during the actual game is the act which begins the game, and, occurs after each scoring play - The KICKOFF. There has been national discussion on the NFL completely eliminating the kickoff.
The league says they will not be eliminating the kickoff. Instead; they will seek to enhance the on-field kickoff experience.
