JANESA FRYE, COBY RICHARDSON, QUINESSIA JACKSON
WCTV - TALLAHASSEE reports TALLAHASSEE, FL residents COBY RICHARDSON, 48, and QUINESSIA JACKSON, 29, were an engaged couple who worked side-by-side at a private logistics company in Tallahassee!!!
TALLAHASSEE POLICE believe that between November 2017 and March 2018, the couple stole at least $20,000 worth of VICTORIA'S SECRET panties from the company where they both were employed.
According to WLWR:
Customers would make online purchases from Victoria’s Secret. Next, the products would be shipped from the Victoria’s Secret warehouse to a private logistics company in Atlanta. Then, another private logistics company in Tallahassee, where Richardson and Jackson worked, would retrieve the packages from Atlanta, then the packages would be delivered to USPS locations that would then deliver the purchases to customers. However, those packages were not reaching the customers. A manager from the Atlanta logistics company noticed that most of the lost packages were occurring in the Tallahassee area. The total cost of the lost products was $21,912.69. While investigating, the manager learned that most of the products that had gone missing had been assigned to Jackson and Richardson to sort before delivering to customers. Something had to be done as Victoria’s Secret was threatening to pull their business from Tallahassee unless the suspects were caught.
One of the managers from the Atlanta logistics company, noticed that there were a large mass of products missing from the Tallahassee, Florida area. Upon investigation, the Atlanta manager reportedly discovered a Facebook post from Jaresa Frye, 25, with photos of the panties in large bags that had codes on them. Frye was allegedly trying to sell the underwear online. The manager then learned that Frye was Facebook friends with Jackson and Richardson. So, the manager then flew to Tallahassee to meet with Richardson and he confessed to the whole crime. Not only did Richardson reportedly make a full confession, he named Jackson and Frye as the two people helping him. According to police documents, Richardson told officers he stole the packages because he was “in a bind,” and “needed some help,” and that their “bills needed to be paid.”
After being confronted by the logistics manager in Atlanta, Richardson told police officers that Frye got involved when he gave her approximately 50 pieces of stolen Victoria’s Secret underwear, which she allegedly sold on Facebook. After selling them, Richardson said Frye gave him a portion of the money. As a result of the investigation, Richardson, Jackson and Frye were charged with dealing in stolen property. Additionally, Richardson was charged with grand theft over $20,000. Richardson and Jackson were taken into custody on Tuesday but have since gotten out on a $15,000 and $10,000 bond. Jaresa Frye was arrested and released from the Leon County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond, court documents indicated. Conditions of her release are that she have no contact with her co-defendants or any witnesses.
