YOU just gave the most epic PARTY Of The SMMER!!!

The people came. They ate. They drank. They enjoyed YOUR food and drinks.

They DEPARTED.

If your friends are really your FRIENDS, then they probably brought more beer then you really needed - more than you would EVER drink. Some of it WILL walk out with your guests, and, obviously; some will go from the cooler to the fridge.

However; you will still be left with TOO MUCH beer.

So; what DO you do with all of that leftover beer???

Well; believe it or not, there are all types food dishes that can be prepared with beer, and; some of the dishes will be better than the actual beer itself.

Courtesy of the really good folks at GQ Magazine, peruse these savory suggestions on WHAT YOU CAN DO With ALL Of YOUR LEFTOVER BEER - ASIDE From DRINKING The BEER:

SAUSAGES:

An obvious choice, perhaps, but take it from someone from Wisconsin: sausages taste better cooked in beer. As an added bonus, they’re also more forgiving on the grill. Simmer your sausages in whatever leftover beer you like best for about 15 minutes (depending on their size), and then just toss them on the grill briefly, so they get grill marks and a bit of smoky flavor.

MARINADES:
Beer plays really nicely in marinades. Use it as the base for the marinade, and add salt and seasonings to your liking: hot sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, and other condiments are all fair game. If it tastes good, meat soaked in it will probably taste good.

COCKTAILS And PUNCHES:
If you're tired of drinking straight beer but still in the mood for something cold and alcoholic, try making a fancy shandy or a michelada. You can also go all in on cooler punches—that stuff you may remember from college that combines canned beer with other types of booze and juice to create dangerously good concoctions. The most famous of these is the accurately-titled SUMMER BEER; a combination of beer, vodka, and lemonade.

BAR-B-QUE SAUCES:
This is a good way to use up the dark beer that you never actually see someone put in the cooler, but is nevertheless in there, untouched, at the end of the night. Many barbecue sauce recipes actually call for beer.

NEXT PARTY:
After all, if the guy who brought the CHRISTMAS seasonal beer to the SUMMER PARTY, he might look forward to seeing his bottles again
