FERRARI Has NAMED Its NEW CAR The 812 SUPERFAST On PLAYBOY MAG!!!

Ferrari

Italian automaker FERRARI has produced speedy cars for a long time, and NOTHING that rolls off the assembly line in MARANELLO, ITALY could ever be classified as SLOW!!!

That heritage is why there is so much attention paid when a new Ferrari inherits the honor of being the fastest. And at the Geneva Auto Show, Ferrari will reveal the latest top dog, er, top Prancing Horse: FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST.
PLAYBOY Magazine  reports the 812 Superfast takes the “call a spade a spade” approach to naming. Instead of a fancy moniker that rolls off the tongue acrobatically, Ferrari just went with Superfast. It’s funny to picture the conversations at company headquarters that led to the name. (“Well, it does go super fast. What if we just called it Superfast?”)
Regardless of what you call it, the 812 Superfast is impressive. It builds off of the F12 Berlinetta and F12 TDF, but has a new 6.5 liter V12 engine that promises an exhilirating drive on the highway or the track.
The V12 produces 800 horsepower and 718 foot-lb of torque, which allows it to accelerate from 0-62 in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 211.2 miles per hour.
The 812 Superfast has fastback body with a high tail that borrows design language from the 1969 365 GTB4. When you’re inside the car, key elements of the dashboard appear as though they’re floating. And the sound of the engine is such that you could be plenty happy just thwapping the gas pedal while the car stands still.
