GOOD MONDAY!!!

Yesterday, Sunday, August 7, ours Truly CCG returned to The ATL from a brief trip to visit with family and friends in his hometown of NEW ORLEANS, but; about 2 weeks ago on Saturday, July 16, Cousin OG M.A.T, from California flew in to The ATL for a business trip,

We BOTH were HUNGRY for LUNCH.

THE CORNER GRILLE
3823 MAIN STREET
COLLEGE PARK, GA 30337
404. 767,1135

TUESDAY - FRIDAY: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
SATURDAY - SUNDAY: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

CCG picked up MAT from the East Point M.A.R.TA. Station at about 1:00 PM EST, and headed directly to the spot.

THE CORNER GRILLE is conveniently located, about 15 - 20 minutes from HARTSFIELD-JACKSON ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT directly across the street from the College Park M.A.R.TA. Station on Main Street, in lovely Downtown COLLEGE PARK.

The establishment has comfortably spacious table/booth/bar seating for about 65 patrons, yet; maintains a cozy intimate atmosphere.

THE CORNER GRILLE MENU is a delightful display of classic AMERICAN Cuisine with a hint of CREOLE/CAJUN influence.

The SEAFOOD OMELETTE (photo below) was one of the specials for that day, so; CCG elected to go with that selection.

The Seafood Omelette was a very colorful dish that proved to be equally satisfying to both the palette and the eyes. It was a fluffy folded bed of egg filled with Shrimp, Crabmeat, and Spices, then layered with Crabmeat, and; covered with their own homemade Remoulade Sauce and sprinkled with Parsley.

That was a LOT of Omelette.

The eggs were well-cooked, but; still retained a nice fluffiness and just enough moisture. The actual seafood ingredients were all well-seasoned without becoming overwhelming. The remoulade had a nice kick, and; it did accentuate the total dish so you could taste the flavor from each individual element of the dish.

NICE!!!

The dish comes with your choice of Grits or Potatoes, but CCG was able to substitute with the Fresh Fruit of the Day (sliced Strawberry and Cantaloupe). White Toast and Sweet Tea rounded out the meal.

The Fresh Fruit was FRESH.

Ya Boy rarely orders dessert, however; among their dessert selections, The Corner Grille offers up a classic New Orleans favorite delicacy... BEIGNETS (photo bottom).

SWEET!!!

GOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE, GOOD LOCATION, GOOD CONVERSATION, GOOD TIMES!!!
