For mere mortals such as Yours Truly CCG, or perhaps yourself; the opportunity to drive a ROLL-ROYCE WRAITH might satiate our appetite for the luxury automotive experience!!!
However, the heathens that we are, we’d probably just throw any old duffle bag into the trunk when we head out on a road trip. But actual owners of the coupe would never let their Wraith be sullied by such pedestrian luggage.
That’s why UK Automobile manufacturer ROLLS-ROYCE created the Wraith luggage collection as the perfect complement to the car that shares its name. The full set includes six pieces—two wheelie bags, three weekend bags, and one garment bag—and costs $45,854.
PLAYBOY Magazine reports Rolls-Royce consulted Head Butlers (who knew that was a job title anymore?) at some of the world’s elite hotels to determine how guests interacted their luggage. Extra attention was paid to the handles of each piece. Each handle distributes the luggage’s weight evenly and rests comfortably in the hand owing to the same “invisible stitch” technique that is deployed on the Wraith’s steering wheel.
All that may not necessarily justify a price tag that’s more than many very nice new cars. But when you’re driving around in a $300,000 Wraith, what’s another $45 grand
