BHP PROJECT KOENIGSEGG ONE:1 HITS 240 MPH On PLAYBOY MAG!!!

The SWEDISH Automobile Manufacturer KOENIGSEGG may not inspire the same thirst as, say, Lamborghini or Bugatti, but; true car guys who appreciate veryfast automobiles know: the Swedish automaker makes supercars in extremely limited numbers (just enough to qualify as a production car) with the express purpose of going ridiculously quick!!!
PLAYBOY Magazine reports at the recent VMax200 event in the U.K., a KOENIGSEGG ONE: 1 owned by BHP Project and driven by Oliver Webb set the event record three times, throwing down the final gauntlet at 240 miles per hour.
Racing down an airplane runway in Bruntingthorpe, the One:1 first hit 230 mph, barely eclipsing the 2013 record of 229, set by a tuned Porsche 911. That mark didn’t last long, as another 911 hit 231 shortly afterward. That’s when Webb got serious and laid down a 235 mph and the final 240 mph pass on the 1.4-mile track.
What’s remarkable about the video of the feat is how chill it all seems. You’d think that a car going that fast would be incredibly loud. But Webb just looks like he’s cruising at 65. He does everything but hold the wheel with one hand and throw his other arm over the passenger seat.
