I LOVE 2 EAT #111: SIX FEET UNDER!!!

Two Fridays ago, Yours Truly CCG met a good friend at ATLANTIC STATION MOVIES to go see the Early Matinee Showing of comedy film,  BARBERSHOP 3: THE NEXT CUT, and then afterwards; we went to one of her favorite restaurants for late lunch!!!

Having more than one location, SIX FEET UNDER - ATL: GRANT PARK is conveniently located on Memorial Drive in the Grant Park neighborhood of ATLANTA. They are only about 8 blocks from the GEORGIA STATE CAPITAL, and; only about 5 driving minutes from Downtown ATL.

Arriving at about 3:30 PM, we arrived to a busy house.

SIX FEET UNDER is very popular, and therefore, ALWAYS busy. However; we are immediately seated.

Imagine a Seafood Restaurant meeting a classy Sports Bar and then meeting a Neighborhood Pub, and there you have SIX FEET UNDER.

The SIX FEET UNDER MENU features a smorgasbord of Appetizers, Baskets, Sandwiches, Salads, Sides, Soups, AND Desserts, with a hearty availability of mouth-watering seafood dishes.

CCG decided to start with the FRESH SEAFOOD GAZPACHO (photo above), that is served in a small beverage glass, as is shown in the photo.

The SEAFOOD GAZPACHO is a chilled, spicy tomato soup that is accented with Calamari, Shrimp, Onions, Cilantro, Cucumber, and one fresh Gulf Oyster on the side.

SPICY and FLAVOR-FULL... NICE!!!

Moving on to the OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER (photo above)...

The OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER is an appetizer that can be easily shared between 2 - 3 persons and is Baked Oysters topped with Sautéed Spinach, Sautéed Onions, Jack Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Bread Crumbs, and a White Wine Sauce.

THAT'S Oysters and Spinach And Cheese AND Wine, BABY!!!

For the entree, Ya Boy had the COMBO TACOS (photo above).

With the COMBO TACOS, you are able to choose 3 of their tacos: Fried Catfish, Fried Calamari, Fried Chicken, or, Blackened Shrimp.  They are served with a side of SALSA VERDE. CCG chose the Calamari, Catfish, and Shrimp.

The tacos are served in a warm Soft Taco Tortilla, and each taco is differently dressed. However, the three feature common dressing elements of fresh lettuce, cilantro, red/green/white onions, and jalapeño peppers.


TASTY - CRUNCHY - TENDER - SPICY - LICIOUS!!!

GGOD FOOD, GOOD CONVERSATION, GOOD SERVICE, GOOD LOCATION, GOOD TIMES!!!
