I LOVE 2 EAT #95: O'CHARLEYS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY CCG!!!


Saturday, September 5, Yours Truly CCG celebrated his birthday and Sis blessed Ya Boy with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY DINNER at O'CHARLEY'S!!!

Dad was in town, so we met Sis, Bro-n-law, and Niecy at the Highway 85 location in Fayetteville at about 7:00 PM.

We arrived to a house that was about three-quarters full, were immediately seated, and our drink orders were taken.

There were quite a few other birthday celebrations that evening.


Ya Boy spent the evening sipping on STRAWBERRY LEMONADE.



The O'CHARLEY'S MENU is quite extensive and includes a mouth-watering array of Salads, Appetizers, Entrees, Desserts, and Beverages.

Your O'Charley's dining experience begins with a basket of complimentary Dinner Rolls. The Rolls are fluffy-soft, steamy-warm, and slightly sweet to the taste. They come accompanied by helpings of Honey Butter-flavored spread.


Sis ordered a shared appetizer called the TOP SHELF COMBO APPETIZER (photo above), which consists of their Chicken Tenders, Overloaded Potato Skins, Fried Cheese Wedges, and is accompanied by three of their flavors of Dipping Sauce. The Potato Skins come with bacon, BUT; because CCG is the only one who eats bacon - we got the bacon on the side.

The portion CCG had of a Chicken Tender was crispy-tender. The Potato Skin was tender-flaky covered with two cheeses, topped with Green Onion, and finished with tender-crisp bacon.

YUMMY.

The Fried Cheese Wedges tasted like FRIED CHEESE should ALWAYS taste.


For an entree, CCG selected the PANKO-CRUSTED SHRIMP & HAND-BATTERED COD COMBO (photo above), which consists of  a portion of their hand-battered Cod and panko-crusted Shrimp, two side items, and is accompanied by Tartar and Cocktail Dipping Sauces. CCG had the House Salad with Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing and Grilled Asparagus as sides.

Both the cod and shrimp were prepared to light-golden-crispy exteriors with steaming-hot-tender-flaky meat-filled interiors. The asparagus was grilled to perfection, striking that delicate balance which has the vegetable cooked to a state of tenderness, yet leaving a slight crunch.

SWEET!!!
