Saturday, May 16, the CENTRAL UMC Parking Ministry met for our annual Post-Parking Season Dinner!!!
BAY BREEZE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT - MABLETON
1440 VETERANS MEMORIAL HWY SW
MABLETON, GA 30126
Bay Breeze Seafood Restaurant is a large casual dining atmosphere establishment that serves almost all manners of sea life, and utilizes all manners of cooking styles. you can get just about everything that swims, and you can get it all baked, broiled, grilled, or fried.
The main Dining Room is very spacious, accommodating, and seems to seat about 100 persons. There also are two or three other secondary Dining Rooms that would comfortably seat about 50 patrons.
Yours Truly CCG arrived at about 5:50 PM. By the time our full party of about 18 arrived at about 6:00, the joint was jumping with activity. There were several Birthday and/or Graduation Celebrations simultaneously occurring for the duration of our visit.
Once seated, our servers took our orders for drinks and appetizers. Due to the size of our party and busyness of the evening, we had two servers to be assigned to us. At these functions, we generally order shared appetizers.
Yours Truly CCG ordered the SUPER VEGGIE SAMPLER (photo above) to be shared. The Super Veggie Sampler is a huge platter FRIED VEGETABLES - Green Tomatoes, Mushrooms, and Zucchini.
Who ever knew that Deep-Fried Vegetables could be so mouth-watering-cause-you-can't-have-just-one DEEP-FRIED DELICIOUS???
For an entrée, Ya Boy CCG had the STUFFED SALMON PLATTER (photo below).
The Stuffed Salmon Platter is a portion of Grilled Salmon complemented with a Crabmeat and Breading Stuffing. CCG opted for the Baked Potato and Hush Puppy Rings as side items. The various platters come with a complimentary Side Salad. Ya Boy prefers Bleu Cheese Dressing for his salads. Sweet Tea was the beverage of choice.
The Side Salad (not pictured) was crisp, cool, fresh, and the Bleu Cheese was recognizably in-house homemade.
The Grilled Salmon was evenly, yet not overwhelmingly seasoned. So on the outside, the flavoring was very easy on the palate. However; on the inside, it was slightly dry.
The Stuffing was well-cooked, tastily well-seasoned, and was an even mixture, such that the crabmeat maintained its own distinct flavor, and was not overwhelmed by the breading.
The Baked Potato was thoroughly-cooked, steamy-hot when it reached the table, and; the Hush Puppy Rings were fried Golden Brown crispy on the outside and tender-moist on the inside.
Overall, CCG had a most pleasurable dining experience and shall return.
GOOD FOOD, GOOD COMPANY, GOOD CONVERSATION, GOOD SERVICE, GOOD TIMES!!!
