While enjoying a trip to hometown NEW ORLEANS, on Saturday, August 9, Yours Truly CCG decided to make an exploration of the NORMAN MAYER LIBRARY, that is conveniently located near home on Gentilly Boulevard, just 2 blocks from the intersection at Elysian Fields Avenue.
Leaving the library at about 3:00 PM CST, Ya Boy found himself in want of a good old-fashioned NEW ORLEANS SNO-BALL.
THE ORIGINAL NEW ORLEANS SNO-BALLS & SMOOTHEE

NEW ORLEANS, LA 70122
Sunday - Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST
Summer of 2013, CCG visited their original location at 4339 Elysian Fields Ave. Later in the year, THE ORIGINAL NEW ORLEANS SNO-BALLS & SMOOTHEE moved 3 doors up to 4313 Elysian Fields, and into a larger building that now houses a FULL KITCHEN.
They are conveniently located one block down from, and on the same side of the street as BROTHER MARTIN HIGH SCHOOL, and directly next door to the PLAZA MEDICAL CENTER.
THE ORIGINAL NEW ORLEANS SNO-BALLS & SMOOTHEE serves up not only over 50 flavors of Sno-Ball, but; they also offer an array of other delectable edibles including ICE CREAM, PO-BOY SANDWICHES, HOT DOGS, NACHOS, CHIPS and SODAS.
Their new location features ample parking, a spacious customer lobby, and an area for Al Fresco Dining.
CCG decided to go with a STRAWBERRY/PINEAPPLE SNO-BALL topped with Condensed Milk.
