OLD SCHOOL FRIDAY: PUFF JOHNSON!!!


GOOD FRIDAY!!!

R&B Singer/SongwriterRecording Artist PUFF JOHNSON (December 10, 1972 - June 24, 2013) passed away Monday, June 24, 2013; after a lengthy battle with Cervical Cancer at the age of 40.

Born in EWANYA JOHNSON in DETROIT, MI; she emerged on the music scene with the singles, FOREVER MORE, written by NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN, PUFF JOHNSON, and S. J. DAKOTA, and OVER & OVER. She released her first and critically acclaimed album, MIRACLE, in 1996. 

RANDY JACKSON of AMERICAN IDOL produced the album.

She has also collaborated with the Bay Area based R& B Group, SOMETHIN' For The PEOPLE, and TUPAC "2PAC" SHAKUR on his hit single, ME AGAINST THE WORLD.
